1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using ReviewQR ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Service Description
ReviewQR provides QR code generation for Google Business reviews and optional analytics features. The Service includes:
- Free tier — QR code generation and delivery via email, plus a one-time sample of single-use QR coupons. QR codes never expire and continue to work regardless of your account or subscription status.
- Starter ($10/month) — Up to 100 single-use QR coupons per month, your logo on every sticker, redemption tracking, and scan analytics.
- Growth ($25/month) — Up to 500 single-use QR coupons per month and everything in Starter.
- Both paid plans begin with a 14-day free trial that requires a payment method and automatically converts to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends. You can cancel at any time.
3. Account Creation
When you generate a QR code, we automatically create an account using the email address you provide. This account gives you access to the dashboard on the Free plan. You can upgrade to Pro at any time. By providing your email and generating a QR code, you agree that:
- You consent to an account being created with your email address.
- You will provide a valid email address.
- You are responsible for maintaining access to your email account.
- Authentication is passwordless — we send magic links to your email via Resend.
- You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard settings page.
4. QR Code License & Redirect Tracking
When you generate a QR code, you receive a perpetual, royalty-free license to use it for any lawful business purpose. This includes commercial use, printing, distribution, and modification.
QR codes use redirect URLs (reviewqr.app/r/[shortId]) so we can track scan activity. When someone scans your QR code, they pass through our redirect before reaching the Google review page. This allows us to collect scan data for your analytics dashboard. Your QR codes will continue to redirect to Google regardless of your account or subscription status.
5. Subscriptions & Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe: Starter at $10/month and Growth at $25/month. The Free plan remains available without a credit card.
- Free trial & auto-renewal. Both paid plans start with a 14-day free trial. You must provide a valid payment method to begin the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically starts and your payment method is charged the monthly price for your plan.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month until canceled. Each renewal charges the then-current monthly price for your plan.
- You can cancel at any time, including during the trial, from the billing portal. If you cancel during the trial you are not charged. If you cancel a paid subscription, access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- After cancellation, your account reverts to the Free tier. Your QR codes continue to work; only coupon volume and analytics access are restricted.
- We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
- Stripe handles all payment processing. We never see or store your credit card details.
6. Data Collection & QR Scan Tracking
When someone scans a QR code, we collect the following data through our redirect URL:
- Timestamp of the scan
- Device type (mobile or desktop)
- User agent string (truncated)
- Country and city (derived from IP address)
We do not collect personally identifiable information from people who scan QR codes. Scanners are immediately redirected to the Google review page after data is logged.
7. Email Communications
By providing your email address, you consent to receive:
- Transactional emails: QR code delivery, magic links for sign-in, payment receipts.
- Marketing emails: tips and feature updates via drip campaigns.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. Transactional emails are required for the Service to function and cannot be opted out of. All emails are sent via Resend.
8. Account Deletion
You can delete your account from the dashboard settings page. Upon deletion:
- Dashboard access is immediately revoked.
- Active subscriptions are canceled (no further charges).
- Your QR codes continue to function for your customers.
- Personal data is purged within 30 days. For immediate erasure, contact support@reviewqr.app.
9. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. ReviewQR does not guarantee specific results from using QR codes, including review volume or rating changes. Google review policies are controlled by Google and may change at any time.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. Changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
